Me and my business partner are starting a new Medical Transcription business and I have sent out fliers and business cards and I have a website. I know the site is getting hits because I signed up with a service that checks that, but I have not received a single phone call or email. What else could I possibly be doing to get clients?

I interviewed for a position and was emailed about a time for a second interview. I replied back but have not heard back. How many business days should I wait to follow up with them about the unanswered email?



I have a cleaning service and am trying to branch out and clean more offices. I have tried to drop off cards, advertise in the paper and on my website. Now I am wondering if it is acceptable to email local businesses directly to offer services. A master list of emails would be fairly easy to compile and I would be able to reach EVERY business with an email.

I was told it is illegal to send spam emails in USA.
how about other countries?? even in USA, there are very few people got trouble becaude doing spam. so you get 0.1% to be arrested, and you may make a big money.



I run an international company and receive about 100 emails everyday. I like the IPhone but I see everybody is using Blackberry in business. What is the disadvantage of IPhone? My main use will be email. They say it takes time for IPhone to receive emails (I use outlook express in the company)
I also like to use a phone that is good for listening to music at the gym, in the car…



We have an external back up Company which backs up our outlook but I can not access it. I have made up some fictional information and tested if she is reading them and she has tripped up a few times by asking me questions about the info which has only been in an email and not discussed. I want to know if this is an invasion of privacy and what I can do about it if it is. She does not have my permission to read my emails.



I went back to my maiden name after getting divorced. I want everyone outside of my company to know that it’s still me when they email me or receive an email from me. I have heard that you should write it as :

Jane Doe (f.k.a Smith). Doe being the maiden name and Smith being the former married name.

Does anybody know if this is correct?
