I’m currently an MBA student scheduled to graduate in December of 2011. I’ve heard of some under graduate students who have been getting job offers with a year of school still left. How far in advance of my graduation should I start applying to new positions?

I’m planning to start a home based business soon, and I recently looked into going to a local community college for the two-year business management degree futher on. I’m a college student, what is the best way to reach out to business in specific fields of a major within any state?

For example: I know someone who is studying Anthropology, so that’s their major. They would like to get an intern this summer in their field of study; Anthropology. How and where would they start to look for an intern in their field of study specifically? How should that person reach out to businesses who do that type of thing in any state?
