I might be fired from my job. How do I cope with being fired?

My Dad was fired twice. For eight years, he worked for a business and he was fired. He worked for a different business for six years and he was fired for arriving 30minutes late on a single day. The first business he worked for hired him again. My Dad said, “when you get fired, it is not always fair.”

Do businesses look down on people who are fired? How do I cope with being fired?

I am preparing for a mock interview for my business class (i am a business major) and need to find an entry level job to apply for. I want to apply for a business related job. What are some good options?

I am a sophomore at my university and I currently tutor at a high school.

My resume doesn’t look very good (just a degree and three jobs). I want to start a business so I can put down that I did bookkeeping/accounting/QuickBooks, handled the legal work, and was a leader. I don’t plan on taking care of very many customers or having any major expenses.
So far Wayne Z is the only non-spammer.

I have a bachelor’s degree in business, and have 10 years working experience in the banking industry. I feel like it’s time for me to move on and make a change to another career because I’ve basically been in a dead end job all this time. What are some good careers I can easily transition into? Some people have told me either nursing or teaching. I like both but I’m also open to anything else where my skills can easily transfer.

I’ve already submitted applications for Publix and Kroger, but I’d much rather work at a smaller grocery store/business.

Could somebody give me a quick list of stores/businesses I could apply at, please?

Btw, I refuse to work at fast food restaurants, so none of those please.

Thank you. :)

I just want to be able to make money at a part time job, but still be able to play sports for my high school, and be an active member in the DECA chapter at my school.

So what businesses are known for working around a schedule like mine. I mean, like what fast food, or other places work around schedules.

Thanks in advance

I had just started a job with an internet company that my task was to get people to sign up to their website and play internet games. After two days I was demoted from working at the office to working from home. Is this like normal? How long do businesses usually give new workers to adapt to the new job?

i want to own a home based business. i have no clue how to go about it. Do you just jump in to whatever sounds good? Or do you investigate the business? How do you investigate businesses?

Also, can anyone confirm if Blockbuster would be able to hire at 14?
