I am a member of a seventh-day adventist church in Philadelphia, PA. We have beed together for almost 17 yrs +, and we finally got our own building. The only problem is we dnt have any money to fix it up. How do I get local businesses (contractors) or the government to help us, by donating supplies, money or even by lending a hand. We are not part of a conference yet, but we really need help.

I am going to Uganda this summer and I am looking to get donations from businesses. Do you know of businesses that would be willing to donate to something like this? I don’t really know where to start!

I am going overseas for a nonprofit volunteer program. Is it possible to ask businesses to donate money for my trip if I explain what I am doing, the goals, etc.? If so, how would I go about doing this?
