I’m writing a paper and I would like to know what businesses were started by college friends. I have looked on the web under hundreds of searches but, I have been unable to find anything.
PLEASE HELP!

I am wanting to start my own business. But I need to know how to research other fimilar businesses annual revenue. Incoming and outgoing cash flow.

I want to find out what insurance companies certain businesses have such as U-Haul, Enterprise car rental etc. Do they insure through Progressive, State Farm, Allstate, etc. I need to know for a business idea I have. It might sound weird but it is a need to know question.

We are doing a project in humanities that studies the effects of global warming (the water rising) on Tokyo and find a way to relocate the population. We decided to have them relocate to Kyoto. However, because of all the things that would have to be built (new buildings, airports, docks, etc) we need to know which specific businesses would need to be relocated.

Over 60% of small businesses fail due to a lack of planning and execution of a business plan. When businesses are so small it is rare to have an HR manager, because of that training and follow-up is non-existent. Who would be accountable and how could management implement a training routine to make it beneficial and cost effective?

How do I get businesses to donate?

I am going overseas for a nonprofit volunteer program. Is it possible to ask businesses to donate money for my trip if I explain what I am doing, the goals, etc.? If so, how would I go about doing this?

I’m looking for businesses that you can become a consultant in, as far as beauty goes. I know of only two, Mary Kay and Arbonne, any others that anyone likes and that works?

Where do small businesses get their goods and supplies? From larger corporations.

What will happen to the prices of these goods and supplies when the corporate tax rate is raised? They will go up, directly affecting the small business owner.

How will the small business owner adjust to paying higher prices? They will raise their prices becoming less competitive and lose customers, cut their employee base or close (lose) their businesses.

In a bad economy, why would you want to do something that will directly affect the small businesses that employ 60 to 80 million people?

What do you not understand?

Interested to know if small businesses can file taxes as individuals, and if so, how common that is.
